It is with profound gratitude that we announce a landmark achievement for Al-Resala Bilingual School. By the grace of Allah, we have successfully fulfilled all requirements of the internationally recognized Eco-Schools program under the Green Flag initiative. Consequently, the school has been awarded international accreditation and the prestigious Green Flag—the highest global distinction within this program.
This esteemed accreditation acknowledges our school’s exemplary integration of Education for Sustainable Development into our pedagogical framework. It is a testament to our unwavering commitment to institutional and community advancement, demonstrated through the comprehensive application of the program’s seven-step methodology across our entire institution. With this honor, Al-Resala Bilingual School rightfully takes its place among the world’s foremost environmentally conscious educational establishments.
This accomplishment embodies our enduring dedication to fostering an environmentally literate generation—one that is socially responsible and deeply committed to the stewardship of their community, environment, and nation. It is a milestone that resonates powerfully with the aspirations of Kuwait Vision 2035, which champions sustainable education and the cultivation of future-ready citizens.
The celebratory ceremony, where the Green Flag was raised, was a poignant reflection of our school’s spirit of excellence and communal pride. The event featured insightful student-led exhibitions demonstrating remarkable proficiency in recycling, waste minimization, afforestation, and resource conservation. Through these practical initiatives and pioneering environmental projects, our students powerfully affirmed their role as active participants in a global movement dedicated to ecological preservation and sustainable progress for our beloved Kuwait.
We were honored by the presence of Dr. Saleh Al-Muzaini, the National Operator for the Eco-Schools program in Kuwait, who commended Al-Resala for its innovative leadership in propagating environmental awareness and embedding sustainable practices within the educational ecosystem.
In a fitting culmination, the school was formally presented with the commemorative shield, the official certificate of accreditation, and the Green Flag itself.
Concurrently, we celebrate another extraordinary triumph. Al-Resala School fielded eight exceptional teams at the AUM Robotex 2025 competition, hosted by the American University of the Middle East. Competing in categories including Lego Line Follower, Lego Sumo, Line Follower, and Maze Solver, our five girls’ teams and three boys’ teams all distinguished themselves by advancing to the final rounds amidst fierce competition from over 200 teams representing more than 60 schools.
A particular highlight was the outstanding performance of our girls’ team, which secured third place in the Lego Line Follower category. This remarkable achievement positioned them as the top-ranking school team in that event, following only specialized talent centers. The team was awarded a cash prize of 500 Kuwaiti Dinars and, most notably, earned qualification to represent Kuwait at the forthcoming World Championship in Estonia.
We express our deepest pride in our students for this commendable display of skill, and we congratulate them on the inventive and tenacious spirit they exemplified throughout this prestigious event.
