Peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you.
All praise be to Allah, by whose grace good deeds are perfected, and peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad,
As the blessed month of Ramadan has started, we are pleased to extend our warmest congratulations and best wishes to the family of Al-Resala Bilingual School and to the dear parents. We ask His Almighty to bless us during this holy month, to help us in devotion and worship, to accept righteous deeds from us all, and to protect our nation and our people from all harm.
With the beginning of the second academic semester, we are delighted to welcome our beloved students back to their classrooms. We hope that this semester be full of diligence, hard work, and excellence, and that it contributes to honing their abilities and building their future. By Allah’s grace, our students achieved commendable results in the first semester, reflecting the development of their academic and educational level. This success has played a significant role in enhancing the path of excellence, thanks to a safe and well-equipped school environment, distinguished educational leadership, and teachers who have set a high standard in empowering students and providing them with high-quality education.
I extend my sincere gratitude and appreciation to the dear parents for their continuous cooperation and their great care for their children, and for their effective partnership with the school in supporting the educational process. This collaboration between home and school is a fundamental pillar for building a conscious generation, armed with knowledge, learning, and technology. We encourage our beloved students to continue working hard and striving for learning and knowledge, so that they may become active young people in their community and contribute to the advancement and glory of their nation.
Professional Development at Al-Resala Bilingual School: A Foundational Pillar for Holistic Student Development
Al-Resala School has prioritized professional training as a fundamental pillar in shaping student character and cultivating essential life skills. This initiative is achieved by instilling the values of work ethics and responsibility, bridging theoretical knowledge with practical application, and fostering creativity and problem-solving capabilities. Kindergarten and Elementary Levels (Foundational Skill Development)
At the kindergarten and elementary levels, the program focuses on developing fundamental skills through simplified, safe, and practical activities. These activities are designed to enhance independence, motor coordination, and the exploration of individual aptitudes. Practical instruction encompasses the following domains:
- Agriculture (utilizing cotton, soil, and water)
- Culinary arts
- Sewing and spinning
- Color printing
- First aid
Middle and High School Levels (Specialized and Applied Training)
In the middle and high school levels, professional training evolves to become more specialized. Students in grades five through ten engage in applied skills and productive projects aimed at cultivating entrepreneurial thinking, planning, time management, teamwork, and readiness for higher education and the workforce. Training modules include:
- Pottery
- Textiles
- Arabic calligraphy
- Recycling
- Carpentry
- Basic maintenance tasks (light household repairs)
- Jewelry making
- Execution of small-scale productive projects
Professional Training for Students with Special Needs (Adapted Educational Approaches)
Professional training is also provided to students with special needs through adapted instructional methodologies that accommodate individual differences. These simplified, practical programs include:
- Therapeutic agriculture
- Artistic printing
- Handicrafts such as embroidery and basic sewing
- Clay modeling
- Recycling
- Daily living skills, including preparing simple meals and table etiquette
These programs emphasize the development of sensory and fine motor skills, enhancement of visual-motor coordination, and cultivation of communication and collaborative work abilities. Furthermore, they contribute to fostering self-reliance, building confidence, and instilling a sense of accomplishment. Ultimately, this approach prepares students for positive integration into society within a safe and stimulating educational environment that supports their abilities and highlights their potential.
Celebrating National Occasions: Kuwait Liberation Day and National Day
We are currently experiencing the joy of Kuwait on Liberation Day and National Day. Our hearts are adorned with loyalty to the nation, and our deeds are increasingly characterized by devotion to His Almighty and commitment to elevating this generous homeland toward further glory. We firmly believe that our nation’s advancement can only be achieved through continued dedication and contribution. On this occasion, I am pleased to extend our highest sentiments of congratulations and blessings to His Highness Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the leader of our journey, and to the dear Kuwaiti people on this happy occasion. May Allah perpetuate this blessing upon us and upon our beloved country, Kuwait.
